PARIS WRITING WORKSHOP WITH CECILIA WOLOCH!
Monday, June 18th, through Friday, June 22nd

Cecilia WolochPoet, author and instructor, Cecilia Woloch, will lead a cross-genre workshop in poetry and short-form prose — prose poetry, flash fiction and hybrid forms — focusing on generative exercises as well as on crafting longer works. The group is limited to 10 writers, and will meet in the late afternoons in the lovely, sunny upstairs room of a café in the 3rd arrondissement, a vibrant neighborhood in the Haut Marais and near the Place de la République.

Along with workshop meetings, there will be opportunities to interact with the Paris writing community, attend readings, cultural events and participate in open mics. Cecilia will also offer one-on-one consultations on manuscripts and work-in-progress at a reduced fee for those enrolled in the workshop. A number of the workshop spots have already been claimed, so please let her know soon if you want to participate!

The workshop ends on the afternoon of Midsummer's Eve, just in time for the annual Fête de la Musique, a citywide celebration of music that goes on all night in the streets of Paris — a party not to be missed!

Participants will make their own travel and lodging arrangements, allowing Cecilia to keep the fee inexpensive for the 5-day workshop at $795. A deposit of $375 will be required to hold your space in the workshop, with the balance payable no later than May 15th, 2018.

To enroll in the workshop, or for more information, please send an email to: [email protected]
