Located just around the corner from the Musée d'Orsay which houses the world's greatest collection of impressionist masterpieces, La Maison d'Orsay is a lovely blend of modern conveniences and efficiency with old-world French charm and elegance.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2010 and no corner was left untouched. The neutral tones of the color scheme highlight the beautiful antiques and give a sense of calm and serenity.
The living room is comprised of two comfortable armchairs opposite a leather sofabed, which serves as a bed for an additional guest. The flat-screen TV and DVD player are hidden behind a sliding door in this room and there is free satellite access to watch over 100 channels.
The large and well-equipped kitchen has everything you would want, including a built-in combination oven/microwave, a dishwasher, two-burner ceramic stove, fridge and Nespresso coffee maker, not to mention a complete supply of cookware, dishes, cutlery and glassware. There are two dining options -- either cozy seating at the marble bistro table with two chairs, or the stools that fit neatly under the extended kitchen counter.
The bedroom at the back of the apartment and facing a courtyard for ultimate quiet, has a comfortable queen-sized bed, elegant lighting, matching antique night tables and a French-style bureau. The mirrored closets in the alcove provide substantial hanging, shelf and storage space. For your musical pleasure, there is a Bose Sound Wave CD player/radio here in the bedroom.
The large and spacious bathroom is equipped with a sink and oversized vanity that offers ample counter and drawer space for all of your toiletries. There is a large tub/shower combination with hand-held and rainfall shower heads. The apartment's washer and dryer are both also located in this room.

Beautiful and Outstanding in Every Way!!! We just returned from three glorious nights at La Maison D'Orsay and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a trip of a lifetime to Paris. The newly renovated flat has it all! The building was so bright, quiet, safe, elegant…we could not stop smiling. It is better than the Web site's description, by far. Parler Paris' staff had arranged for a concierge to meet us and provide a full orientation and welcome to the great neighborhood. We love this agency and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to France. We rented two properties through them on this trip and also had friends who rented another Parler Paris Apartment close to us -- no hidden costs. They were thrilled, too. Our flat had it all - It was sparkling clean with a large modern bathroom with a huge tub and rain shower, heated towel rack, new washer/dryer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine with many supplies, secure entry, bar with stools, huge windows that open, free phone calls to North America and beyond, great Wi-Fi, a separate bedroom, change area with many closets, hidden flats-creen TV and DVD, Bose player for our Edith Piaf CD, super comfortable bed, large comfy white leather pull-out sofa in the living room…etc. The neighbors were warm and friendly. The street is amazing and 20 feet outside the front door is the most romantic and delicious Indian restaurant (Ravi) we have ever been to. It is dimly lit and small - no more than 20-24 seats. The Sancerre wine, tandoori prawns and butter chicken were all mouth watering. Great service too. Right next door is a quiet bar/restaurant, and on the same block are two wine shops, corner store, chocolaterie, boulangerie on the corner and restaurants on rue du Bac galore. Apparently, the French Prime Minister lives close by and on our first night walking home from dinner, we saw Karl Lagerfeld on our street! We gave him his space and pretended not too look. :-) It took us less than five minutes to walk to the Musée d'Orsay to see Van Gogh's works and only another five to cross the bridge to the Louvre to see Mona Lisa. The 69 bus took us straight to our friend's apartment rental in Le Marais. We could walk to the jazz bars in St-Germain-des-Prés with ease. The Monoprix grocery store is amazing and only two blocks away. The subway stop is Rue du Bac (close by). Note: we did alot of research prior to booking two apartments with Parler Paris. They had a good reputation and I liked that the rental prices were ALL inclusive. All around, a wonderful experience! Thank you so much Parler Paris Apartments!

I have just returned from three fabulous weeks in France, which started with a magic week in Paris. The moment I turned the key into my new "home" at La Maison d'Orsay the tone was set. The apartment is compact but well designed and equipped with all one should need to enjoy a very comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, with crisp white linen and my temporary "flat mate" found the pull down couch quite adequate. It was a great convenience to have a washer/dryer which was cleverly stacked in the lovely bathroom. The modern kitchen had everything down to candles for dinner and a champagne bucket. I shouldn't forget to mention that the location of La Maison d'Orsay is also perfect!! -- close to the Métro, if indeed one chose to use it in preference to walking through Paris's beautiful streets. I can't think of anything that was missing... not only do I recommend La Maison d'Orsay ( and Parler Paris Aptartments) but I will be booking to go back as soon as I can!

The apartment was wonderful. We were pleased with the décor and the amount of storage space. The amenities exceeded our expectations.

I wanted to let you know that we were 100% happy with the apartment! The location couldn't have been better, the apartment was not only very clean, but also a really nice space. To have your own washer and dryer in France was a real luxury! I would recommend staying at this apartment to anyone. The Concierge was really great meeting us at the apartment and showing us around. I really appreciated her meeting us there to show us this great place! We will definitely rent this apartment again on our next visit to Paris.
Thanks again, Randy S., Chicago, IL
The stay was great –- we really loved the apartment and were especially pleased with the high quality fixtures including linens, towels, knives, dishes and pots and pans. I also really appreciated that some basics were already in the apartment like dish and laundry detergent, salt and pepper and some basic spices and olive oil.
