Our reservation was managed in an exceptional manner, especially considering we only managed to confirm the exact date and time of arrival a day before we turned up. The Concierge was warm and welcoming and the apartment was exactly as we expected it to be from the web photos. We're looking forward to our next stay with Parler Paris!

Kirk and I arrived home safely last night after a long day of traveling, and I just wanted say thank you again for everything. The apartment was wonderful--exactly as described in the pictures and description on your web site, and the location was perfect. Kirk and I enjoyed ourselves immensely, despite a few rainy days (thankfully there were a few dry days last week as well), and we hope to be able to visit Paris again in future. I'd definitely recommend Le Beaubourg, and Parler Paris apartments in general, to any of our friends or family members who plan on visiting Paris.

Thanks again for making our vacation such a smooth pleasure! We just returned from our week in Paris at Le Beaubourg, and it was fantastic. Your concierge was there to meet us just as he said he would be and was so nice and helpful with advice about trains and the Paris Shuttle to the airport for our return. He is beautifully bi-lingual so he even corrected a few mis-pronounced French words for us. ("Beaubourg" is a killer for the English tongue, I won't even try to tell you phonetically, but just think of puffing out your lips in rapid succession while saying boboo and you will be close.) The apartment is compact and beautiful, and looks just like the photo's online. The telephone with an answering machine worked great and having the free calls back to the states was a real plus. The flat is so well placed that you can walk to most everything and for those places you can't walk to there are Metro stops a block or two either way, plus a bus stop across the street, and it feels like a very safe neighborhood to walk around in.
The flat is very well laid out with plenty of storage space and modern appliances for preparing simple meals. The appliances are all European (of course) so if you are from the States play close attention when they are explained, we had a few comical moments with the stove. We found spices, sugar, oils, napkins etc and even coffee filters there so cooking would be a snap. The kitchen was beautifully supplied, no mismatched sets here. The small elevator worked very well, but the open, curving staircase is right next to it if you wish to climb the six stories. We were surprised and pleased to find several wonderful (is there another kind?) boulangeries and small grocery stores within three to four blocks (down near the Pompidou) and great restaurants within about a four block radius. We had used the google maps site on the Parler Paris web site to actually see the street and surroundings before we left home so we already knew what direction everything was from there and what it looked like. If you haven't tried just click on the little man figure in the upper left of the maps of the apartment sites and drag him where ever you want and you will see an actual 360 degree photo of the area.
Here is a useful hint that I wish someone had told me before we left: you can actually make reservations to go up the Tour Eiffel and not have to wait in any line. Just google it online, you're welcome! There is relatively new museum called Musée du quai Branly, near the Tour Eiffel that you should not miss, it was outstanding. And, remember commuter traffic in the metro and rail stations is intense just before and after work hours and not particularly tourist friendly. Other than the rush hour impatience, we found as we always have in the past, the French are lovely, gracious people who appreciate it when you speak a little of their language, or at least try, and if they don't speak your language and you do not understand theirs, keep a sense of humor about it and use inventive methods to make yourself understood. That is the spirit and excitement of travel.
We were thrilled with Parler Paris Apartments. The accommodations and service were outstanding. The concierge gave us his cell phone number which we didn't hesitate to use and always got a gracious response. I can't think of any improvement on Le Beaubourg, it just couldn't be nicer. We also flew on the all business class Open Skies Airlines that I had read about on the Parler Paris site and it was unbelievably wonderful too. Bon voyage! We want to go back.
