What a wonderful place to spend our 40th wedding anniversary!! Our two weeks were packed with visits to many of the landmarks plus lots of walking everywhere to really feel the "atmosphere." The apartment is very tiny but very comfy and lots of space to put everything away! We shopped at Franprix nd the deli and mostly ate in at night (so tired from walking!), but enjoyed our evening drinks at Café Charlot. Truly a trip to remember always...

What a great area from which to explore Paris. The Marais is such an exciting and interesting place to start. Everyday we walked these streets we discovered new little enclaves to explore! The accommodation met our needs and everyday we would come 'home' relax, read, whatever, before we headed out again for our evening adventure. The choices are extraordinary. If your goal is to exceed expectations you achieved it! The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos on the web site only much better in person. This apartment had everything - including tooth brushes, electric adaptors, ear plugs, more towels and wash cloths than I could possibly need. Wonderful comfortable bed and crisp clean sheets! The place is immaculate, The neighborhood is great - very safe. lots of cafes, markets, bakeries, everything just a few steps from the apartment. And did I mention quiet?? You could not hear one bit of traffic or other noise. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

The location is just lovely and the apartment is tiny but sweet. Everything you could wish for is there. The apartment is tiny but perfectly formed, it feels charming and intimate --100% perfect for the Marais! So great for galleries, restaurants, and browsing in gorgeous boutiques. I really can't think of anything to change -- the only thing that Le Provencal lacked was a dish brush, and I bought one at Monoprix and left it! I enjoyed my stay at Le Provencal tremendously. I loved the fact that there were great shops (the fromagerie, the caviste, the wonderful covered market open every day) and restaurants just one minute from the front door. Although I was alone, I felt completely safe and secure in the neighborhood and in the apartment. Outside it was cold and rainy, but in the apartment it was warm and colorful!

It's official -- We will never stay in a hotel in Paris again!!! We loved our stay in Le Provencal! The apartment was wonderful and well stocked with all the necessities. I would suggest that you include in your information that things such as soaps, towels etc. are included in the apartment as we have rented places previously where we were required to bring/buy our own and it was a treat to arrive and know this was something we didn't have to think about. The location was perfect, the amenities were perfect, the experience from the first contact was perfect. We hope to see you again very soon and have told many of our friends about our wonderful week in Paris at Le Provencal.The Marais, the apartment, the restaurant recommendations, the marché, the park...all we wanted and more. I've been coming to Paris for over 20 years from two to four weeks a year, but finally decided to forgo hotels and rent because I faithfully read Parler Paris. I certainly chose the right apartment! I'm sure there's not another in the city so well equipped and totally homey, with such a comfortable bed and absolutely everything!! I've been wanting to stay in the Marais for years and now, will stay nowhere else! The "next step," I suppose, will be buying here, but that will be a while, which means I'll continue to rent "Le Provençal" for my next visits here! In all the hustle and bustle it was so quiet here! A hidden treasure...I was even getting used to the stairs. My granddaughter was delighted and will certainly tell all of her friends about the cute little apartment we stayed in in Paris. WE utilized the kitchen several times. I even baked a clafouti in the little oven -- no problem. I'll keep your number for my next visit! No more hotels!
