Bernard Burch’s love affair with France began in the mid-1980s. After a successful executive career in entertainment marketing/branding in the United States, he decided to become a “digital nomad” and in 2013, left the USA—with just two suitcases—to finally achieve the “real” American dream…of living in France.
Born on a farm in Indiana, with a B.A. in Music Business, Bernard has also lived in Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Washington D.C., and California. These moves helped him hone his skills as a relocation expert. He became a certified tour director at the International Tour Management Institute in San Francisco and has led group tours of 40+ persons. He is often requested to create private, customized tours of Paris. His passion for travel, history, culture (and Chopin) brought him to Paris, but it was his experience in digital marketing and web design that helped him integrate into the world of property management. Since 2015, Bernard has rented and managed hundreds of apartments throughout the city.
Bernard is a “Jack of all trades” and master of many. In addition to his responsibilities with the Adrian Leeds Group, he shares his up-to-date travel and relocation skills via his online course “Paris Discovered,” which helps people discover their own journey into France. He is known for his enthusiasm and positive attitude about all-things French. As a trained classical musician and music educator, Bernard is also involved in the Parisian musical community where he sings with the gay men’s choir and teaches privately. He lives in Montmartre with his husband of seven years.
