The
world’s most famous church, La Cathédral Notre Dame
de Paris, is the spiritual and geographical center of Paris. There
is a marker in the square in front of the Cathedral that designates
“kilometer zero” from which all distances to and from
Paris, are measured. La Belle Notre Dame is 100 meters from this
spot, so where better to immerse yourself in the splendor of Paris
than in the very heart of the city where life began!?
Under
the direction of our talented designer, Martine di Matteo, this
two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment has been transformed into
a masterpiece of style and comfort. On the third floor with elevator,
this luxury apartment will make your stay in Paris absolutely
perfect.
From
the entrance, you will immediately be struck by the apartment's
bold and beautiful color scheme of blacks, whites, pinks and chartreuse's.
Elegant silk draperies, high quality upholstery and several unique
features make this apartment one-of-a-kind. To add to the artistic
touch is an array of extensive custom mosaic tile work done by
"mosaiiste," Veronique Husson, who contributed her beautiful
handiwork in other of our finest Parler Paris Apartments.
The
first bedroom on the right as you enter boasts of this beautiful
tile-work at the head of the queen-size bed (which can be made
up as two separate twins), with the roman numerals MCLXIII, representing
the year that the cornerstone of the Cathedral was laid (1163).
The twin of this work of art can be found in the glassed-in shower
in the apartment’s en suite bath, which includes a sink
and heated towel rack. This bedroom has shelves and hanging space
on each side of the bed, as well as a comfortable chair. The window
overlooks a quiet courtyard.
The
second bedroom on the left as you enter is similarly enhanced,
with a whimsical painting of the Cathedral itself, an original
work by artist Pascal Amblard, done specifically for the apartment.
One entire wall of this bedroom is devoted to mirrored closets
for plenty of storage. The bed can be made up as separate twins.
Just
outside this bedroom is the separate toilet with sink. Next to
that is the second luxurious bath, with a large tub/shower combination,
a heated towel rack, as well as a combined washer/dryer and lots
of storage space.
The
living room area of the apartment includes a plush three-seater
sofa and armchair, a typical Parisian fireplace (ornamental) with
large mirror. For those that need to catch up on some work or
just check a few emails, there is a desk that is part of a built-in
wall unit, which adds to the great amount of storage space in
the apartment.
The
open, angled kitchen is very well equipped, with full-sized oven,
a two burner vitro ceramic stove-top, built-in microwave, fridge
and freezer and dishwasher. Of course, the kitchen is completely
furnished with all pots, pans, dishes, glassware and utensils
that you will need.
The
four-person dining room table sits conveniently next to the open
kitchen over it hangs a stunning glass framed chandelier -- a
special feature that symbolizes the mix of contemporary and old-world
style.
A
large flat screen TV with DVD Blu-ray player is mounted on the
wall and is visible from throughout the central area of the apartment.
There are over one hundred channels available, several of them
in English.
Included
is high speed wireless Internet and unlimited free phone calls
to over 100 countries, including cell phones in the U.S. and Canada.
As
with all of our apartments, all bedding and an ample supply of
towels are provided.

I loved the apartment! It was just as pictured and in the best location. The apartment had everything that we needed and then some. The kitchen was well equipped and even had some of the basic necessities. If you are looking for a “True Parisian Experience,” this is the place! You can hear the bells of the Notre Dame and what a beautiful sound it is -- I will try to rent this apartment again in the future!!!

We
had a wonderful time in this adorable apartment. We were amazed
with the location -- it's just next door to the Notre Dame Cathedral
-- the location is absolutely fabulous. In the same street, there
are plenty of cafés, shops and restaurants. It was delightful
to hear the bells of Notre Dame everyday. It's a two-minute walk
to "L'Hôtel de Ville," five-minute walk to the
Latin Quarter and Saint Michel, 10 minutes to Le Marais...absolutely
incredible! John and Adrian were really GREAT preparing the apartment
for our arrival, there was nothing missing, we even found tea
and coffee which was a nice surprise. We arrived very late at
night and they were waiting for us to let us in and show us everything.
Everything was so pristine and well appointed. Thank you to Adrian
and John for such an excellent service! We felt better than in
a five-star hotel! We felt like we were in our own little piece
of Parisian heaven! We'll definitely do it again! THANKS!

My
mother and my sister (From Japan) and I decided to meet up in
Paris and spend one week together. The apartment was a perfect
choice for us since as a group of three, it would have been difficult
to get one hotel room that has three beds. La Belle Notre Dame
exceeded our expectations. My mother took out her camera as soon
as she walked in to take pictures of the place, including the
brand new bathrooms, which we took baths in to relax after walking
around so much. The washing machine was a plus for my sister as
she wanted to do laundry every day. It was a nice surprise for
us. I got sick on the plane, so it was just amazing to be able
to store juice in the fridge, make coffee/tea whenever we wanted.
The best night (and I say this when we were surrounded by amazing
restaurants) was when we went out to get groceries and cooked
at home. Just like when we were kids and living with my parents,
we cooked, talked, and had drinks while we cooked. You can't experience
this in a hotel. Every morning, we made a baguette/croissant run
to get pastries and made coffee just like Parisians do. We had
cheese, butter, yogurt, all the good dairy stuff France is known
for. We won't be able to stay at a hotel EVER when we are in Paris
the next time.

Our
stay at La Belle Notre Dame was an unforgettable experience for
my family! Traveling to Europe for the first time with our two
young boys, my husband and I did not know what to expect. We arrived
at the apartment and instantly felt at home and so did the boys.
The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable-
we had all of the conveniences and amenities of home. We felt
safe, secure and surprised that we did not hear noise considering
the location near Notre Dame and its many visitors. We enjoyed
waking up every morning to the distant bell chimes of the Cathedral
and the location of the apartment with its many cafés and
restaurants in walking distance. We liked the ability of getting
a taxi or a tour bus right out of the door with great ease. We
truly LOVED our stay in La Belle of Notre Dame and our visit to
Paris will be an experience we will never forget.
