It was a dog's day afternoon at Après Midi. Wendy Newman brought along her pup, "Paris," the Pomeranian, who got more attention than any of us humans. Wendy has made her 'dream come true' by moving to Paris, which she claims took her 52 years! She's living the good life and starting a small beauty business doing eyelash extensions under the name of "SuperCils." Interested? Contact Wendy at 06.01.45.39.76 or [email protected]
Freelance Journalist, Linda Hervieux, hadn't been to Apès Midi in a while, but she graced her with her presence on her birthday after a Cheeseburger at the Café Charlot.
Alice Needham and Bill Sandie finally came with the good news that the leak in their apartment was finally found after tearing out the wall completely. This was a big relief to them after months, maybe years, of problems!
Author of mystery novels, Michael Genelin, came to see what wonderful women might attend, since he's in the market for a new ladyfriend having lost his wife, Suzy, not all that long ago.
Kelly Pfister, is vacationing now, but hopes to return to Paris in April for one year. We have news for her...if she stays one year, she'll never leave!
It was the first time for Shaun Maamo, who is here for three months and is also working on how to live here full time.
Artist, Ying Ying Wu, is a part-time resident, living the other half of the year in San Francisco.
Merel with her husband and newly retired doctor Dan Glaubiger, are here again on vacation, for one to two months at a time.
Retired foreign service person having lived and worked here in 1987 and 1988, Ramona Kludt, is thinking about a permanent move.
Florida resident and retired lawyer, Donna Blazevic, visits every year and sometimes twice. She rents an apartment in a different arrondissement each time, studies French and attends Parler Parlor.
Lois and Rob Mandel, who we see from time to time, are testing their traveling legs with a short one-wee visit to Paris. They were married at the end of May in Boca Raton where they will spend the winter and hopefully return to Paris next spring or summer.
Mary Louise Sillman brought her beautiful hand-made jewelry and holiday cards to sell.
We are very pleased to have 'Marketing Director Extraordinaire' Lynda Sydney, who is here from Toronto for a month catching up with old friends and working with the Adrian Leeds Group.
Linda Stevens, an architect researching an obscure 19th-century architect, came back and is still dreaming of living here...getting closer to fulfilling her dream all the time.
Florence Richburg, 'Assistante Extraordinaire' is always a pleasure to have around and funny, although today, she fell in love with a pup!
