James Navé – Author & Writing Coach
“Write from the Imaginative Storm”
Discover the power of your creative voice as James Navé, poet and co-founder of The Imaginative Storm Writing Project, leads a lively Imaginative Storm Writing Salon at Adrian Leeds’ April Aprés-Midi.
Centered on the theme of “Imaginative Intelligence.” This salon will offer you a unique opportunity to explore the imaginative possibilities of “Writing What You Don’t Know,” a method designed to unlock insights, weave connections, and stir the untapped wells of your imagination.
James Navé invites you to experience one of the foundational exercises from Write What You Don’t Know (co-authored by Imaginative Storm founders Allegra Huston and James Navé). It mirrors their popular Saturday Prompt of the Week Zoom gathering, a dynamic blend of spontaneity and community that encourages playful exploration of language and thought. In just 10 minutes, your imagination will lead you to new writing insights, fueled by your imaginative intelligence and grounded in surprising discoveries.
Participants of the Imaginative Storm Writing Project have found new confidence and unexpected insights. They describe it as “an experiment in humanity,” “pure sustenance for the soul,” and “a field where joy and abundance happen.”
Whether you’re a writer, artist, or simply curious, this salon will offer tools to free your mind from self-critique and help you explore a world of imaginative writing possibilities.
Embrace the thrill of your “Imaginative Intelligence.” Join us at Aprés-Midi on April 8 and discover where your imagination might lead you.
