“Nice Uncovered”
After graduating from SUNY Stony Brook, Jeanne moved to New York City to work at the Village Voice as a copy editor. She then attended New York Law School and worked as a criminal lawyer.
Her love of travel propelled her to Europe where she worked as a tour guide before turning to travel writing. Her first assignment was to update a chapter on Croatia for Lonely Planet’s Mediterranean Europe. She went on to write the first edition of Lonely Planet’s Croatia which was the first guidebook in English to the new country. She also worked on several guidebooks for Frommer’s including Paris from $70 a Day and Memorable Walks in Paris.
Jeanne’s latest project is Nice Uncovered: Walks Through the Secret Heart of a Historic City, which she has published as both an e-book and paperback, available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Apple books as well as selected bookstores.
She currently resides in Nice, France where she works on her website, frenchrivieratraveller.com, and enjoys swimming, cycling and hiking.
