Rosemary Flannery, an American in Paris
Rosemary Flannery, an American in Paris, has been part of the scene here since 1989. She’s an artist who has also worked as a tour guide, created an internet radio show on the arts, and written a book, The Angels of Paris: An architectural tour through the history of Paris.
At the moment, she’s immersed in her artwork, in particular, creating portrait drawings on commission, and putting final touches on a number of oil paintings for an upcoming exhibition. Today, Rosemary will give us a short demonstration of how she makes portraits from photographs, and the type of materials she uses to create them.
