Bruno Gruat of Moneycorp Exchange Experts will explain why a currency broker is the most cost effective and efficient way of exchanging currencies and managing your finances on different continents with a discussion on “Saving you money on your international transfers.”
Peter Zipper, President of Caye International Bank, Belize, will offer an off-shore banking alternative that is the best in the world for asset protection: “Belize, the Best Offshore Banking Country in the World.”
And I, Adrian Leeds, of the Adrian Leeds Group, will give you the 101 course of financing your French property: “Financing French Property 101.”

“Financial Planning for American Expats”
Brian is a financial Planner with a core emphasis on concentrated positions, and retirement planning for predominantly American Expatriates. Past positions have led him to work in many capacities for prestigious firms on Wall Street including UBS, Lehman Brothers, and A.G. Edwards. Working as an analyst, in compliance and as a Financial Advisor has given him the full perspective on the operations of a financial firm. Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with an International Business Background at the University of Central Florida and his Masters In Business Administration from the Masagung School at the University of San Francisco. He has also received the Accredited Asset Management Certification from the College for Financial Planning. Brian is currently President of the American Club of Brussels, a Board Member of the Augusta Chiwy Foundation, Sharkey Foundation and the Brussels Tigers (the local American Football team).
James M. McEvoy, Cross Border Planning
“Insurance & Estate Planning for American Expats”
Throughout his more than 25 years in the financial services industry, James has helped his individual and business clients develop and implement trust, insurance and investment plans designed to help achieve or work toward their personal and corporate financial goals and objectives. James specializes in helping Americans and holders of green cards who reside outside of the United States coordinate their investment, retirement and estate planning in a manner compliant with their regulations of the various countries in which they live. He is insurance and securities licensed in both the United States and inside the European Union, and draws upon the expertise of a network of tax specialist in these countries to assist in his planning. A 1977 graduate of Bowling Green State University at Bowling Green, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1994; his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1997; and his Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation in 2001. James is a Life and Qualifying member of the international Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has served on its management council and various other leadership committees; he is a member of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils; and he serves on the Legal and Taxation Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium. He has written a number of tax and estate planning articles for publications in Belgium and Luxembourg. In his free time, James enjoys cycling, travel, and coaching little league baseball. In 2004, he coached the Belgian All-Star team to the Little League World Series. He has served on the board of directors of the Brussels Sports Association, and has been a volunteer with the charity group United Fund for Belgium since 1992.

Peter Zipper is president of Caye International Bank in Belize since 2006. He has over 30 years of international banking experience. Mr. Zipper graduated from the Geographic Institute in Vienna, Austria, with a degree in geography and cartography. Immediately after he attended the Austrian National Military Academy, as a result, he served in active duty with the United Nations Peace Keeping Troops during the conflict in Cyprus. Mr. Zipper retired from the military with honors as an officer–infantry. After graduating from Staron Flight Academy in Vancouver, Canada, he worked actively during the 1970s as a commercial pilot throughout Northern Canada, Nigeria, and Costa Rica. Mr. Zipper subsequently retired from aviation and later received his international finance education at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, and began his long career in finance around the globe. During his career, he lived and worked in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, where he held leading positions with multinational financial institutions. Mr. Zipper is a sought after speaker and commentator covering international geopolitical and financial issues. Over the years, he has lectured at thousands of events and radio and television shows in both English and German.

Bruno joined Moneycorp in August 2015 as Regional Manager for the Provence-Alpes-Cote-d’Azur region and is based out of the Antibes office. Bruno brings a wealth of experience to the team having successfully worked with international clients in the south of France for over ten years with BNP Paribas International Buyers. Bruno is responsible for developing partnerships within the private client and corporate sectors across the Riviera and in the Alps. He speaks fluent French and English having learnt English with the University of Cambridge in Edinburgh gaining a diploma in Accounting & Finance. Bruno is married with two young children.
