Après-Midi Recap
Daniel Tostado – Paris, April 2023

We had a packed house of Americans and Canadians asking tons of questions of Daniel Tostado, our recommended Immigration Attorney. Daniel took us through a step-by-step explanation of what one can expect when applying for (and achieving) a French visa, and what kinds of visas those are. He is helping me get my French citizenship after 28 years of living in France, first with a renewable Carte de Séjour (annual visas) and subsequently, a Carte de Résident (10-year visa). I can’t imagine doing this without his help and knowledge!
Daniel, born and raised in California, is both an avocat à la cour (Barreau de Paris) and an attorney-at-law (New York bar). He focuses his legal practice on helping clients who want French visas, residency permits, and French citizenship. Daniel has always had a fascination with France and moved to France for the first time in 2010. He then worked as an English-language instructor on the French overseas territory, Réunion island, and later returned to France to complete his legal studies. In his spare time, Daniel volunteers at a legal aid clinic for undocumented immigrants in France, and runs a winter homeless shelter for refugees.
