Buying Property in France: New Small Group Consultations
Bastille Day in Paris and France has come and gone, but certainly wasn’t the norm. The heatwave and the 10th anniversary of the 2016 Nice attack changed everything. The usual July 14th fireworks at the Eiffel Tower were moved to the evening of the 13th to focus on commemorations 10 years since the Nice terrorist attack on the Promenade des Anglais.

Because of the heat wave, a lot of the casernes (fire stations) didn’t host their Bals des Pompiers (firemens’ balls), either, although the bandstand was set up at the Mairie of Paris Centre for their usual party. (I didn’t attend as usual…too hot!) The military parade on the Champs-Élysées still took place the morning of the 14th as usual, with the traditional aircraft flyover and military procession.

Many of the things we normally do to celebrate the French Independence Day were thwarted. That’s just the way it was. C’est la vie.
The good news is that this gave us time to think about how we can help all of you considering making a purchase of a property in Paris, Nice or anywhere else in France, for that matter.
THERE ARE LOTS OF GREAT REASONS TO PURCHASE A PROPERTY IN FRANCE:
• Residence; full or part-time
• Investment; generate a revenue and appreciation
• Vacation home; just enjoy it from time to time
• Tax savings for your heirs (!); great way to pass on your estate tax free
And lots of others that might apply to your personal life!
But, you need to know a lot about purchasing property in France if you want to get serious. So, we’re here to help you do that.
SMALL GROUP CONSULTATIONS!

We’re offering three different Small Group Consultation sessions on Zoom that target purchasing property in specific areas of France:
1) “Buying in Paris” (and the Ile-de-France)
2) “Buying in Nice” (and the Alpes Maritimes/Côte d’Azur)
3) “Buying in Regional France” (anywhere in France…cities, villages and countryside)

Paris
These are Small Group Consultations—a minimum of four and no more than six participants (two people together as one participant is just fine)—with me and one of my Senior Consultants in an intimate, interactive setting on Zoom for 90 minutes. It’s just like a one-on-one session, but you’ll benefit from hearing about the interests of the other participants and their questions. You’ll end up making friends with them, too—as you discover how much you have in common.

Nice
We’re going to outline the process of purchasing property, talk about the costs and benefits, provide our usual expert guidance, not to mention some meaningful insights. And naturally, you’ll have the opportunity to ask your own questions.
All this at a fraction of the cost of a private one-on-one consultation!
