Money can be an awfully difficult thing to deal with, especially when you’re living outside of your native country, or have a foot on each side like so many North American Expats living in France. I’m an Expat living in France for more than 22 years and I can tell you that the questions surrounding investment, taxes, currency exchange and protecting one’s assets from one country or the other is forever on all of our minds.
Now, five international speakers are coming together for this very special event in Nice, France!:
Brian Dunhill, Cross Border Planning (formerly Dunhill Financial)
Bruno Gruat, Moneycorp Exchange Experts
Adrian Leeds, Adrian Leeds Group
James McEvoy, Cross Border Planning
Peter Zipper, Caye International Bank
Take just a few hours of your time from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 17th, in the luxury of the elegant and lovely Hôtel Ellington to learn all you need to know about planning for a successful financial future. Sure, it’s complicated, particularly for Expats living on both sides of the big pond, but that’s why our team of experts will be discussing and enlightening you with the basics you need to know in order to plan and invest successfully, finance your property investments, minimize your taxes, protect your assets and deal with currency exchange to your benefit.
Our speakers, all professionals and experts in their field, will share with you their knowledge and experience on a variety of financial subjects designed specifically for North American expats…
Brian Dunhill, along with James McEvoy of Cross Border Planning, will go over the FATCA regulations and how to arrange your financial and estate planning in Europe. Brian’s talk will focus on “Financial Planning for American Expats” and Jim’s will be all about “Insurance & Estate Planning for American Expats.”
Bruno Gruat of Moneycorp Exchange Experts will explain why a currency broker is the most cost effective and efficient way of exchanging currencies and managing your finances on different continents with a discussion on “Saving you money on your international transfers.”
Peter Zipper, President of Caye International Bank, Belize, will offer an off-shore banking alternative that is the best in the world for asset protection: “Belize, the Best Offshore Banking Country in the World.”
And I, Adrian Leeds, of the Adrian Leeds Group, will give you the 101 course of financing your French property: “Financing French Property 101.”
About half-way through we’ll take a pause for drinks and snacks – then, before we break for a closing cocktail with hors d’oeuvres, the panel will be open for a Q and A session – where you will be able to ask us anything! You will have an opportunity to talk individually with the speakers and you will walk away with your own copy of the American Expat Financial Guide published by Cross Border Planning.
