SPECIAL EDITION: Three Properties For Sale with Our Seal of Approval!
Le Palais A Droite
Luberon Luxury Villa
Le Mas du Cornud
We don’t list many properties for sale — that’s because our agency refuses to represent a property that isn’t worth buying! As consultants, we want to be absolutely sure that we can stand behind every property our clients buy. Almost all the owners of the properties we represent are also Expats like you — mostly North Americans (or Australians, etc., and other Anglophones) who have the same vision as you about property ownership and use.
This is very different from a traditional real estate agency that will list anything, sell anything and say anything to make the sale…as long as it means money in their pockets. For that reason, when we offer up a property for sale, you can trust that it’s going to be a good investment and a great home.
We have a few at the moment that you need to know about. Some of them don’t even have listings yet on our website, but we have the new mandates to sell them and that makes this a first offering to you — our exclusive readership.
LE PALAIS A DROITE A NICE
One I love and have ever since the first time I saw it years ago when a friend was renting it for his vacation in Nice is a spacious one bedroom apartment in the heart of Vieux Nice on rue Droite, across the street from the famous and well-visited historic Palais Lascaris!
The palace is a 17th-century aristocratic building and is currently a musical instrument museum with a collection of over 500 instruments — which makes it France’s second most important collection. Visitors flock to it daily, and to have a perfect view on its magnificent facade is a small piece of Côte d’Azur historic heaven.
The apartment opposite the Palais is on the first floor (just one flight up) with a large living room/dining room/kitchen and spacious bedroom plus bath with a shower. The ceilings are so high that it makes the apartment feel much larger than its 39.6 square meters (426 square feet).
This very special apartment is for immediate sale. It is move-in ready and rental-ready! All furnishings are included in the purchase, too…so there’s nothing for you to do but unpack your bags! In a location as incredible as this for short-term rentals and at the asking price of a mere 225,000€ (all agency fees included), an investor or new home-owner can’t go wrong.
Note: The only additional costs are the Notarial taxes and fees, about 7%. Amazing, right?

A LUBERON LUXURY VILLA
This Saturday I’m headed to one of my favorite parts of France for the holiday weekend: Le Luberon, Provence. I have an old friend there who has a lovely village house that she rents to vacationers when she’s not at her U.S. home in Chicago. Just “down the road” from her house in the enclave of Ansouis, not far from another special town in Provence, Lourmarin, is a villa made of dreams in the tiny village of Puget-on-Durance that we are now offering to you for sale!
Located on a plot of land of 8,583 square meters, with lush vegetation, this beautiful property of 522 square meters (5,619 square feet) (including 400 square meters of official habitable space) is in perfect harmony with its environment. Puget on Durance is a quiet village in the Southern part of the Vaucluse, at the edge of the Durance and the Bouches du Rhône, about 25 kilometers from Cavaillon and only 30 minutes drive from Aix-en-Provence.
I love to take the train to Aix-en-Provence — just a three-hour ride on the TGV to get to this particularly spectacular area of France. (Have you ever had a melon from Cavaillon? They are the sweetest!) Puget earns its reputation in the nature that surrounds it — the nature is generous and green. From Puget you easily access the famous forest of Cedars, the site of the Portalas, and also the famous international Golf course of Pont Royal. There is a wonderful view on the Alpilles on one side and the Montagne Sainte-Victoire on the other side…
But the villa itself is the area’s “pièce de résistance!” The 70 square meter living room opens onto a large terrace for you to enjoy even more of the outside and the view. It has a large modern kitchen, office, five spacious bedrooms (including one suite with dressing room), five bathrooms and four toilets. The spacious basement consists of a pool room and a 45 square meter library with home theater that invites you and your entire family and friends to fully relax. There is also a summer kitchen, a tasting bar, cellar, boiler room, laundry room and a large garage of 90 square meters. The great pool of 15 X 10 meters and the jacuzzi are the cherries on the cake.
This is a really beautiful house, a real home, a great place to live and an even better place to invite your family and friends for a truly enriching experience in Provence. Believe it or not, the asking price is only 1,132,000€ — what will buy just a two-bedroom apartment in Paris! Imagine!

It is set on a half-hectare (1.25 acres) of terrain of shade trees, lawns and gardens, with a lap-length pool, fully equipped summer kitchen and many other features reflecting a tasteful restoration using quality materials.
An extensive sales portfolio with an abundance of information on the amenities, physical layout and operational aspects of Mas de Cornud is available to seriously interested buyers.

Monday I’ll be writing from Le Luberon…so you’ll get to know this part of France a little bit more…if you don’t already!
