Our clients tell us that they watch many of our YouTube videos—that it’s a great way to learn a lot about moving to France…and it is. Our YouTube channel has five different playlists: Financial Forums, Après-Midi, Webinars, Interviews with Adrian and Speaking Engagements, and Special Events. Each time we record any of these events, we upload them to our channel for your benefit…and it’s all totally free of charge.

FINANCIAL FORUMS

This past Wednesday, we co-hosted the North American Expats in France Quarterly Financial Forum—1st quarter 2025, with Dunhill Financial. We do these webinars quarterly with a new topic each quarter. Our topic Wednesday was: The U.S.-France Tax Treaty (explaining key benefits, potential pitfalls, and what expats need to know to navigate cross-border taxation.) Speakers featured Jonathan Hadida of Hadida Tax Advisors, Brian Dunhill, Cedric Bernier and Eric Frison of Dunhill Financial.

APRES-MIDI

Thursday, here in Nice, we held our bi-monthly Après-Midi coffee gathering at Oscar Restaurant, where we always have a speaker. This month’s guest speaker was Lisa Anselmo, author of the memoir My (Part-Time) Paris Life: How Running Away Brought Me Home, and a coach, talking about “5 Ways to Reinvent a Happier Life.”

We had about 50 people come to have drinks, schmooze and hear her talk. She said, “Happiness is in your control,” and Lisa showed us how. Lisa has spent most of her professional career in magazine publishing, working on such iconic brands as People, InStyle, and Allure. She’s been everything from a creative director to an opera singer, but ultimately, she has followed her passion for storytelling and inspiring people. Her Youtube series of the same name showcases Parisians and expats who, like her, have taken a risk to change their lives.

The fun doesn’t stop there. On April 9th at 7 p.m. France time, Brian Dunhill of Dunhill Financial and I will be on a webinar together to “Realize Your Dream of Living In France.”

We’re going to talk about how to navigate the French property market, covering topics like planning a move, exploring investment opportunities, and understanding the process. AT FRENCHIES

Tom and Alex of AT Frenchies and I will be talking about the cross-cultural divide between the U.S. and France on April 26th. I’m sure they will have a lot of interesting questions and I am sure to have a lot of strongly held opinions! The cultural divide is one of my favorite topics…so it’s sure to be informative, plus get a lot of laughs. And, as usual, it will be recorded.

100 DAYS OF TRUMP

Once again, we are joining forces with Fab French Insurance to discuss “100 Days of Trump. Is it time to Move to France?” April 30th at 6 p.m. France time.

Fabien Pelissier, President of Fab French Insurance and I will delve into the implications of the recent U.S. elections and what the outcomes might mean for Americans, both at home and abroad, particularly those considering a move to France. We’ll provide insights and analyses on potential policy changes and how these could impact your relocation plans.

Moving to a new country is a significant life change, bringing both challenges and exciting opportunities!
