Three Days In Nice is Just the Beginning of Your New Life in France!
At the moment, there is very little sign on the streets of Nice that Covid-19 even exists. Some people are still wearing their masks outdoors, but most are not. The restaurant terraces are filled with vacationers and a few locals like us. The beaches are busy and care seems to be forgotten. We await news of forthcoming regulations, likely more protests depending on what mandates are imposed on the people and how we will deal with it as part of the ongoing saga of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, it’s clear everyone wants their lives to get back to normal and back to traveling abroad. A lot of our American compatriots are here in France taking advantage of the ability to put the pandemic aside, at least for now. Our upcoming Tour to Provence and the Occitanie is already fully booked and the Living and Investing in France Conference is mostly booked, but a few seats remain (maximum attendance is set at 100). These participants are clearly ready, willing and able (vaccinated and fearless) to make the trip and be with us for a few days at the end of September for what we expect will be a very informative and fun three days on the Côte d’Azur.
As we get closer to the first day of the conference on September 27th, we will have more information about how to handle an event of this kind vis-à-vis Covid-19. The government guidelines will be fully in place and we’ll know exactly what we need to do to be safe and make everyone feel completely comfortable. We are committed to doing it right and ensuring that everyone attending is as healthy and Covid-free as possible.
Recently, we had one attendee write us with a long list of questions about who will be masked, who will not; who will be vaccinated, who will not; who will be tested, who will not…etc., etc., etc. Of course, we perfectly understand these fears, and you can rest assured that we will do what is necessary and prudent to be as careful as possible….but to anyone who is concerned, frightened or anxious, I would simply say: “Don’t come.” We really want everyone to be relaxed and carefree without concern for the virus.
The three-day conference in Nice is an event where you’ll get to meet other people who have the same desire to enrich their lives with France as you do. We’re going to introduce you to our “boots on the ground” contacts and make sure you get the answers to all your questions about living and investing in France. You’ll come away with a host of new friends, a long list of important resources, and become very well informed about living, investing, or retiring in France.
Here’s what the three days will look like:
Day 1, Monday, September 27th is Conference Day with a collection of great speakers. We’ll have lunch together, drinks at the end of the day, and we promise you’ll walk away with more information than you ever dreamed of getting.
Day 2, Tuesday, September 28th is a coach tour of the Côte d’Azur from Nice to Menton and back! We did the tour in 2013 and it was so much fun that we’re doing it again. This is simply one of the most gorgeous coastlines in the world and we want you to see it for yourselves. Be prepared to be in awe and fall in love with the French Riviera.
Day 3, Wednesday, September 29th is a real old-fashioned Open House topped by a Closing Cocktail! Attendees will have an opportunity to visit properties for sale in Central Nice just by walking from one to the other and then convening back at the Splendid Hotel & Spa on its rooftop terrace for drinks and (sad) goodbyes.
We added a bonus on Day 3, too—my team and I will be available for round-table discussions that morning to sit with us and some of our other professionals to ask the questions that perhaps didn’t get answered the previous days. This wasn’t on the original schedule, but we added it because we don’t want your three days to end without you getting every drop of information you want!
The three days will have come to an end, but that’s just the beginning for your new life in France!
