Zoom-In to Stay Tuned-In…to France!
Saturday night about 400 people tuned into our webinar sponsored by the Federation of the Alliances Françaises across the U.S.—all 107 of them. It would have been very difficult to have had such an event live and in person with so many people any other way. No doubt, Zoom and other webinar platforms like it, are changing our lives…forever. Perhaps we have Covid-19 to thank, too, for creating the necessity that was the “mother of invention.” At least this dreaded and deadly disease hasn’t been all bad considering how it’s opened up possibilities we never thought probable nor possible. (This is not to make light of the pandemic.)
The webinar was just one hour long, but with 400 people tuned in, you can imagine the barrage of questions! We had less than 15 minutes to answer them all, so most went unanswered and am sure was frustrating for those who had hoped to learn even more than they had during the presentation. Right here and now, if you download this PDF, I’ve answered a few more…at least some of the more relevant ones that might quell the thirst for most of you wanting to sip the sweet wine of France. For those that go unanswered, have no fear, there are more webinars to come! (Keep reading to learn about more.)
What’s even more amazing is that thanks to Zoom’s recording capabilities, and the Federation’s generosity, you can now watch it yourself in case you missed it and want to take it all in! Just click here, sit back, watch and listen. Don’t hesitate to write us with your own questions that may not have appeared in the PDF.
Make a note to visit the Federation’s events page for national events that may interest you. Very shortly, the AFUSA will be posting a link to their February 9th webinar, “Mastering the Secrets of French,” which I am sure you will want to attend.

ESCAPE TO FRANCE PART II – LIFE ON THE RIVIERA
Sponsored by Adrian Leeds Group and Opportunity Travel
Saturday, February 27th, 2021
Learn how to escape to France. Take just 1.5 hours of your time to Zoom into a second and more in-depth prelude of what’s to come in this year’s Living and Investing in France Conference September 26 to 29 in Nice, France, followed by a Tour to Provence and the Occitanie September 30 to October 4, 2021.
I will teach you how easy it can be to make your dream come true…to have the right to live in France and to find an apartment to rent or a home to buy anywhere in France your heart desires.
In Part II, I will walk you through the process of first getting a visa, and will focus on life on the Riviera: what part of the Riviera suits you best—the enclaves along the coast, the perched villages, or the heart of Nice! I’ll be presenting properties on the market and reviewing what you can expect to spend on a purchase or a rental.
This is your chance to get to know the famous Côte d’Azur!
In addition, Kim Bingham, an international mortgage broker with Private-Rate—specializing in loans for non-resident buyers in France—will be with us for a brief presentation and to answer your questions.
