MA MAISON MIRON

You might remember when I first wrote about “Ma Maison Miron?” It was this past June in a Parler Paris Nouvellettre® when we first began the process to convert the 18 square-meter studio in one of the oldest buildings in the city to a “Fractional Ownership Share Property.”

Immediately upon the launch of that newsletter, we had many more written commitments to purchase shares than we had shares available! The response was overwhelming, and thus began the process to renovate and decorate the property as well as organize all the legal documents to make the purchase sure and secure for the buyers.

Wednesday at about 6 p.m. Paris time, we sent an email to those who had made a written commitment to purchase a share with links to the buyers’ set of documents. Within three hours, more than half the shares were sold! By end of day the next day, all but three were gone. The price for a four-week share is 63,900€.

If you have any interest in owning a share of Paris’ newest and smartest Fractional Ownership Property located in one of Paris’ oldest buildings — a building that dates back to the 14th-century…don’t hesitate to contact us. Do it now! Visit the property’s page for the full set of photos and more information.

LE DIAMANT BLEU

That’s what we call this sweet one-bedroom apartment in Buttes aux Cailles (13th Arrondissement) that is just as of this writing going on the market. You are the first to know about it.

As you know, we only list properties we believe are worth buying!

This 30 square meter apartment (317 square feet), newly renovated and fully furnished by Interior Architect and Designer, Martine di Mattéo, is located on rue Paulin Méry in the quaint neighborhood of Les Buttes aux Cailles just steps from Place d’Italie.

On the 2nd floor of a 120 year-old building on a pedestrian cobblestoned street, the living room features parquet flooring. It has an open and fully equipped kitchen with black and white patterned tile flooring, a bedroom behind an atelier-style room-divider, and a contemporary bathroom with WC and shower with both hand-held and rain shower heads. Included furnishings are valued at 18,300€, which reduces the notarial tax basis upon closing.

“La Butte-aux-Cailles” is unknown to most visitors, but is one of the city’s most charming areas. Literally translated, this means “Quail’s Hill” although the name originates from its former landowner, Pierre Caille, who bought a vineyard here in 1543.

There are several “hills” in Paris, such as Montmartre, Montparnasse, Buttes-Chaumont and Belleville. This one is nestled between the Latin Quarter (5th arrondissement) and Chinatown (13th arrondissement). It offers the curious urban explorer many quiet cobblestone streets, some lined with small townhouses and gardens.

The apartment is steps from Place d’Italie, a transportation hub connecting you in 15 minutes either to the Louvre, the Marais, Montparnasse, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Notre Dame. Métro line 6 is also direct to the Eiffel tower.

Metro lines: 5, 6, 7
Bus lines: 27, 47, 57, 64, 67, and 83

Asking Price: €359,000
Reference: #148

See the apartment’s page on our site for photos and more information.
