3RD QUARTER FINANCIAL FORUM
Date: September 9, 2026
Time: 7 p.m. France time/10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern
Topic: French Insurance Decoded: What Every American in France Should Know
Special Guests: Fabien Pelissier, Fab Insurance and Eric Frison, Dunhill Financial

In this session, we’re tackling the big questions about acquiring insurance for all of your needs in France. It starts with healthcare insurance to obtain your French visa, or adding a “mutuelle” to your French social security “Carte Vitale.” Then, if you rent or own a home in France, having homeowner insurance is required by law. Own a car in France? Insurance is a must! All this, and more will be discussed and your questions answered by our experts.

Our speakers include Eric Frison of Dunhill Financial, Fabien Pelissier Fab Insurance, and Adrian Leeds of the Adrian Leeds Group “French Property the American Way.”

Eric Frison

Eric Frison

Eric is a US-France cross-border Financial Advisor. Based locally in France, he is a financial advisor for the French team at Dunhill Financial. He focuses on acting as a point person for our US expat, French resident clients. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Eric completed a B.S. in Business Administration at U.C. Berkeley before moving to France in 2009. He previously worked in academia as an English professor before entering the world of cross-border finance. Eric received his AMF certification from the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers as well as his US FINRA Series 65 certification. Eric is fully bilingual in French and English, and has first-hand knowledge of the banking and investment landscape when settling in France as an American.

Fabien Pelissier

Fabien Pelissier

Born and raised in southwest France near Biarritz, Fabien studied in Paris and graduated as a software engineer before beginning his career with tech companies on the French Riviera near Nice. At just 25, he founded his first business. In his early thirties, Fabien relocated to the United Kingdom, before returning to France in 2015 with a clear vision: to create FAB FRENCH INSURANCE, a specialist brokerage dedicated to supporting people moving to or living in France. While the firm handles all types of insurance policies, including car, property, and medical cover, its core focus is one of the most critical and often misunderstood aspects of relocation: compliant insurance solutions required for long-term visas and residency. Today, Fabien leads a team of a dozen passionate specialists from his hometown near Bordeaux, working with clients from all over the world. His approach is shaped by a rare blend of perspectives. He grew up alongside a stepfather who served as a French Member of Parliament for 25 years, giving him early exposure to public policy and administration, and he has personally served on the boards of URSSAF and CPAM, gaining first-hand insight into the inner workings of the French system. It is this combination of technical expertise, institutional knowledge, and real-world experience that leads Fabien to describe himself as an “immigration GP”: someone who takes a holistic view of each situation and guides people through the complex, interconnected realities of settling in France with clarity, confidence, and realism and, hopefully, making French insurance look a little sexy.

4TH QUARTER FINANCIAL FORUM
Date: December 2, 2026
Time: 7 p.m. France time/10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern
Topic: Plan Ahead So Your Heirs Inherit More…Here’s How
Special Guest: Thomas Dubanchet, an international tax lawyer dedicated to assisting expatriates, families, and foreign investors

In this session, the very complicated subject of French inheritance laws will be addressed, discussed and answered. If and when you become tax resident in France, learn how your heirs will be taxed on your worldwide assets…and how to best plan in advance to reduce those taxes, so you can live the life in France you want without punishing your heirs!

Thomas Dubanchet

Thomas Dubanchet

Thomas Dubanchet is a French tax lawyer and the founder of Bespoke Avocats, a boutique tax law firm dedicated to advising U.S. individuals and families living in, relocating to, or investing in France. His practice focuses on cross-border private client tax matters, with a particular emphasis on estate and succession planning in a France–U.S. context. He assists clients in navigating the interaction between French tax residency rules, French succession law and inheritance tax, U.S. estate and gift tax rules, and the French tax treatment and reporting of U.S. trust structures. His work is aimed at preventing unexpected tax exposure, securing compliant filing positions, and structuring assets in a way that remains coherent across both legal systems. With more than ten years of experience in international private client tax, Thomas advises on pre-move planning, trust regularizations, inheritance tax exposure, and the coordination of U.S. estate planning instruments with French wills and civil law constraints. He works closely with U.S. CPAs, U.S. estate planning attorneys, French Notaires, and wealth advisors to deliver clear, coordinated, and actionable advice for families managing wealth across borders. Thomas practices in English and French.

REMINDER: REGISTER NOW FOR TWO UPCOMING GROUP CONSULTATIONS
FEBRUARY 5TH AND 12TH

Have you been thinking seriously about moving to France? If so, you’re in very good company. We may not have perfect government statistics showing exactly how many Americans want to leave the U.S. since Donald Trump was elected, but we do have mountains of evidence—from polling, search data, and our own day-to-day work…that the desire to relocate abroad is growing rapidly.

Our recent Group Consultations went so well that we’re doing them again:

February 5th and 12th at 4 p.m. France time (7 a.m. Pacific, 10 a.m. Eastern). This is the best way to begin the process.

Each session will be led by Patty and me together on Zoom for 90 minutes. She has more than 10 years with us, is a logistics magician and knows the administrative process inside and out. She has answers for absolutely everything. Between the two of us, we’ll be able to answer every question.

Here’s what you’ll get:

• Direct answers to your questions
• The chance to hear what others are asking
• Community, camaraderie, and connection
• Expert insight at a fraction of the cost

Dates & Times (France/CET): February 5 and 12 at 4:00 p.m. CET (7 a.m. Pacific/10 a.m. Eastern)

Each session lasts 90 minutes.

We can’t publish our fee structure in an email, but I can tell you this: The cost is < 28% of a consultation with me and < 39% of the cost of one with Patty. And you get both of us—for the price of one.

There are only 12 spots total.
Six per session.
Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Bring a spouse, partner, or friend—no extra charge. If you’re serious about moving to France, this is the smartest first step you can take.

Register now before your spot is taken!

A la prochaine…
