Last Wednesday you might have missed my interview by Diana Bishop of Women of Global Interest, but you don’t have to! It’s now a video online for easy viewing. She’s an international TV news correspondent (CBC, CTV, Global and NBC News) who has spent most of her life telling people’s stories, and she chose to tell a bit of mine. Just under one hour, we had more than 200 tune-in on Zoom. We had an awful lot of fun talking about what it’s like to be a single woman living in the City of Light (and why a woman like me scares French men to run in the other direction)!

As you read this, I’m on the train to Nice to be the Emcee for the annual Meet the Authors event, organized and hosted by author, Ella Dyer. Two years went by without the gathering, so we’re thrilled to be back and have a fabulous line-up of authors who will talk about their recent works, read a bit from them and answer your questions. You will have an opportunity to purchase their books and get signed copies!*

Participation is FREE, but we ask that you purchase at least one drink to show the host venue how much we appreciate their hospitality!

APRES-MIDI WITH COLUMNIST AND AUTHOR, DAVID ANDELMAN

Monday I’m back on the train and back to Paris to be on time for Tuesday’s Après-Midi with David Andelman.

On December 1, by decree of French President Emmanuel Macron, he was presented with the rank of chevalier (knight) of the Légion d’Honneur. This honor…for his decades of service to the excellence of journalism. David’s credentials are a mile long, so I urge you to check out his bio on our site, but meanwhile, don’t miss the event live in Paris if you can help it.

David will be addressing a variety of current political topics that could focus on the French elections, the war in Ukraine or other Red Lines—the subject of his latest book, “A Red Line in the Sand.” He’ll have a couple of copies with him, so this is an opportune moment for you to get your own signed copy.
