Patty came to France on what she affectionately calls a “career break,” fulfilling a long-time dream of living in France where she always felt at home. The plan was to stay a year or two. That was in 2015.
A longtime follower of Adrian Leeds, and an avid fan of House Hunters International, Patty seized the opportunity to work for Adrian when she saw a brief notice in Adrian’s Nouvellettre®—just two weeks before her move. She met with Adrian on her second day in Paris, and has been with the Adrian Leeds Group ever since.
It didn’t take long for Patty to know that she was meant to live in France. She quickly embraced her new lifestyle, and has no plans to return to her former life in the United States.
While she loved living in Paris, her long-term goal had always been to settle in the south of France. She found an apartment in Nîmes, which felt like the perfect stepping stone, and for a time, enjoyed dividing her time between there and Paris—each with distinctly different personalities and lifestyles.
Following the COVID lockdowns in 2020, Patty found herself drawn to the sea, so later that year, she made the move to Nice. “I love living in Nice, not only because it’s the French Riviera, but because it’s such an easy place to live, with its excellent public transportation, international airport, expat community, and more!”
Before moving to France, Patty enjoyed a successful 25-year career as a Credit Union executive. Throughout her career, she also served in numerous volunteer leadership roles, including as a Director of the Kansas Credit Union Association. She is an alumnus of Kansas State University, where she studied marketing and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration.
